It was a privilege to discuss higher education abroad at the Irish Times Higher Options this week.Â
In three days, the panel moderated by The Irish Times' Brian Mooney included Guy Flouch (Eunicas), Sam (UCAS) and Artur Banaszkiewicz. We spoke about the vast opportunities available to Irish students. Some of the key messages were:Â
- there are thousands of programmes for anyone daring to move for education and pursue their dreams... or goals
- one should focus on the subjects they are interested in and will need, instead of trying to max the number of points from the Irish Leaving Cert (still often being subject to a lottery)Â
